Alerts describe reported incidents

Every alert is a plain-language summary of something already reported publicly — in national media, official advisories from regulators (such as RBI, SEBI, or the Department of Telecommunications), or police communications. Names, numbers, links, and UPI IDs that appear in an alert are reproduced because they were reported in connection with a described incident. Their appearance is not, by itself, a finding that any person or business committed an offence. Allegations remain allegations unless and until established by a competent authority or court.

Not a real-time blocklist

RISX is not a live database of every scam. If a number, link, or UPI ID does not appear here, that does not mean it is safe. New scams appear constantly and we only cover what has been publicly reported. Always stay cautious.

Accuracy and timeliness

We try to summarise sources faithfully, but reports can be incomplete, updated, or later corrected. Information may be outdated or contain errors. Where possible we link to the original source so you can verify it yourself. Treat alerts as a starting point, not the final word.
