Grievance Redressal
Last updated: May 2026
We take accuracy and fairness seriously. If something on RISX is wrong, outdated, unfair to you, or affects your rights, you can ask us to correct or remove it. This page explains how, who handles it, and how quickly we respond.
What you can ask for
- Correct a factual error in an alert.
- Remove or update content that names you or your business unfairly, or that is no longer accurate (for example, after a clarification, closure, or acquittal).
- Report content you believe is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes your rights.
- Make a request about your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
How to raise a grievance
Email researchers@kncok.com with the subject line “Grievance / removal request”. To help us act quickly, please include:
- The link (URL) of the alert or page concerned.
- What is wrong, unfair, or should be removed, and why.
- Your relationship to the matter (for example, the person or business named, an authorised representative, or a member of the public).
- Any supporting document or official record (such as a clarification, order, or notice), if available.
- Your name and a contact email so we can respond.
You do not need a lawyer to write to us. We will not publish your contact details.
Our response timelines
In line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021:
- We aim to acknowledge your grievance within 24 hours of receiving it.
- We aim to resolve it within 15 days of receipt.
- Requests to remove content that exposes an individual (for example, impersonation or content of a sexual nature) are treated as urgent and acted on as quickly as possible.
While we review a credible request, we may temporarily limit or hide the disputed content.

Designation: Grievance Officer
Entity: [Legal Entity Name]
Address: [Registered office address, City, State, PIN]

Your personal data (DPDP Act 2023)
If your request concerns your personal data, you may ask us to correct, complete, update, or erase it where applicable. Tell us clearly that it is a DPDP request and describe the data concerned. We may need to verify your identity before acting. For how we handle data generally, see our Privacy Policy.
What we can and cannot do
We can correct or remove our own summaries and the way we present information. We cannot change the original news reports, advisories, or records published by others — for those, you would need to contact the original publisher. We may decline requests that are not genuine, or where keeping accurate public-interest information serves a clear public-safety purpose; if we do, we will explain why.
If you are not satisfied
If you are unhappy with our decision, you may pursue remedies available under applicable Indian law, including the grievance appellate mechanism under the IT Rules 2021 and the authorities established under the DPDP Act 2023.
